In the visual arts, "color theory is a body of practical guidance to color mixing and the visual impacts of specific color combinations." As it relates to the designer, color can be a crucial factor, it has the ability to invoke different emotions. If the designer uses the wrong colors, the viewer can misinterpret what what the designer is trying to portray. As it pertains to our class, we use RGBA (red, green, blue, alpha) giving us the ability to use all colors off the red, green, blue scale. The alpha allows to for additive of different shades of the colors to be represented
